No, foils can't be altered. Or let me re-phrase that : they can't be altered in any way that extend the original art. The foiling process makes the colors matching impossible, since foils are metalic and paint is a matte medium. Any extension would look pretty bad on most foils. However, if what you want is an addittion on top of the original art, like the Calvin and Hobbes Goyf, for example, then it's totally doable since no color matching is required.

You can order through the online shop. In the Custom alteration category, you will find 4 buttons to order, depending on what you want. Borderless/textless single order or a playset for the price of 3 cards. You can also order more complicated alters, like altered art or textless card with the appropriate buttons. Contact me if you're unsure about what you'd like to be done, if it's doable and which button you should use to order!
Once your order is placed, I will send you my address so you can send me the cards. I will Work on them as soon as possible and ship them back once they're done. General process usually takes from 2 to 6 weeks.

How long will it take ? When will I get my altered card(s) back? |
Orders are usually sent back within 6 to 12 weeks. Allow more time for larger orders (12+ cards). It is always possible that you receive your cards before the 6 weeks delay, depending on the amount of orders I have to do. The date of order is the date at which you pay, assuming that you mail the card to me quickly. Please be understanding. Sometimes shipping can take longer than expected.

What if I don't own the card? |
If you don't own the card you'd like to have altered, you can purchase it online on your favorite retailer's website and either have it delivered to me or send it to me when you receive it.

What about altering Flip cards? Is it one or two alters? |
Flip cards count as 2 alters, because I do have to do 2 paintings. If you only want one side altered, don't forget to mention which one when you order!

Yes, I do, but no more than 20 cards at a time. Bulks are a lot of work and put other clients on a long waiting list. For that purpose, I limit large orders so that no one has to wait too long for their cards.

Do you accept to trade for your alters? |
I don't normally trade for my services, but if you have cards that might interest an EDH/Commander enthusiast, feel free to ask. Just keep in mind that I can't buy bread and butter with a foiled judge promo and that I don't play legacy... only standard and EDH! If I'm interested in the trad, know that I price the cards with a 70% trading rate, that's above what most shop owners would give you!

Are the cards legal in tournaments? |
The High Judge has final judgement, but the only written restriction by Wizards is that the art of the card has to be recognizable and the card has to keep it's original thickness and weight. I have never had one of my cards turned down for tournament play. Some may recommend that the name of the card, power and toughness and mana cost must be visible. Some judges prefer when the black borders are also visible. The best way of knowing if a card would be legal is to ask you local judge. If your alter is for a commander or casual deck, then no worries!
